Cape Cod Museum of Natural History continues its long tradition of offering quality educational programs in marine science, environmental and ecological studies, and Cape Cod flora and fauna at its campus on Cape Cod Bay. Groups are encouraged to plan a guided field walk, a tour of the museum’s exhibits, one of seven natural history family presentations – or a combination of these exciting programs. We invite you to consider the museum as a multi-faceted educational resource that is ready to work with you to achieve an individualized visit for your school or group.
SCHOOL GROUPS Our trained naturalists are aware of the need to tailor presentations for school groups to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks so that these science-oriented tours will be relevant to the needs of teachers and their students. We welcome the use of school curriculum guides and discovery outlines, and we encourage teachers to visit our facilities in advance of a field trip so that we can help develop the best possible plan. The museum structures presentations to meet the requirements and interests of each individual group or grade level.
Please call for School Group Reservations at 508.896.3867 extension 112 for special group rates and available dates.
