Message from the Chair Welcome to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. We hope the information you find on the Web site will encourage you to visit us.
In 2009 we will be working with the International Fund for Animal Welfare to describe their efforts in engaging communities, government leaders, and like-minded organizations around the world in achieving lasting solutions to pressing animal welfare and conservation challenges - solutions that benefit both animals and people.
We have other great programs to share including a variety of lectures addressing the issues of the Cape and the world. We also have KidSummer, nature walks, an OspreyCam, Mudflat Mania, and programs on the archaeology of Cape Cod, owls, wolves, bats, whales, insects, etc. Kids love the aquarium and library programs and you will find a gift shop with nature-oriented books and toys… every member of the family will find something wonderful here.
Please become a visitor, a member, and a volunteer. There are many opportunities to learn and share your knowledge and love of nature with others. Help us fulfill our mission:
“to inspire appreciation, understanding, and stewardship of our natural environment through discovery and learning.”
