Sunday, September 17, 2017  at 1pm.

Foraging for mushrooms can be a safe, fun and nutritious activity! Learn how to identify the different classes of mushrooms, types of edible mushrooms that are "easier" to identify safely and what time of year they appear, nutritional along with their medicinal value and health benefits. Following the mushroom presentation at the Museum, we will walk in the Lee Baldwin Trail to look for edible mushrooms and discuss methods on how to safely identify them.
